5-story residential building completed in 1835 as a 3-story townhouse for Thomas Barron. It was raised to five floors in the late 1800s. It has a rusticated stone English basement with pilastered doorway, surmounted by a handsome sheetmetal entablature with egg and dart molding extending the width of the house. The is a low brownstone stoop on the left and wrought-iron railing in front of the areaway. The upper floors are clad in red brick, and the two right-hand windows at each level have been replaced by a triple casement while the single windows at the left are also casements. A simple metal cornice caps the roof line.
