2.5-story residential building originally completed in 1834 as a townhouse for renters. It is clad in orange brick, three bays wide, above a brownstone basement and stoop. The doorway is framed by fluted columns supporting a carved entablature and cornice. The windows have brownstone sills and molded cornices. Around 1900, a steep-angled studio skylight to the top.
The rear part of the house, separated by a courtyard, is 1.5-stories high, clad in red brick at the ground floor, with three small attic windows above. There is a central round-arched doorway and wooden shutters on the flanking windows. Above the low attic windows is a sloped, shingle-clad roof with a deck and railing on top.
