4-story residential building originally completed in 1826 as a 2-story townhouse. In 1870, it was joined with 98 Grove Street and the new combined structure was raised to four floors, with a brown paneled and bracketed cornice. The facade is clad in white-painted brick, three bays wide on Waverly Place, and five bays of varied width on Grove Street. The ground floor, with a central pedimented entrance on Grove is occupied by Joseph Leonard restaurant.
