3-story residential building originally completed in 1835 as one of a set of speculative rowhouses for John H. Marine. It is clad in orange brick. The black bracketed and dentiled roof cornice was added later, probably when the ground-level storefront was installed in the late 1800s for a grocery store run by J.W. Pope.

The ground floor is occupied by First Republic Bank while the upper floors hold three apartments.
