5-story Italianate residential building completed in about 1850 as a brownstone rowhouse. Its lower floors were converted to commercial use in 1898, and its upper floors became an annex to the adjacent Hotel Breslin in 1910. The building, which is now an apartment buildling with stores on the first two floors, remains largely intact on the exterior above the 2nd floor.
The 1st floor is clad in black cast-iron, with an entrance on the right up a small, iron-railed stoop, and a storefront with transoms on the left, above a raised basement. Paneled pilasters frame the 1st floor. The 2nd floor has an angled, projecting show window, with transoms framed in black iron. The rest of the 2nd floor, including the slender columns at the edges, are painted pale pink.
The 2-bay upper floors are clad in beige-painted brownstone, with pink sills and lintels at the window openings. Those on the 3rd & 5th floors have been partially filled in, and replaced with smaller windows. The facade is crowned by a pink and beige metal roof cornice with brackets and panels.
The 1st floor is occupied by Le Labo perfume store, and the basement is occupied by Rudy's barber shop. The gold leaf on the exterior was applied by Le Labe Parfumerie.
