6-story Beaux-Arts cooperative-apartment building completed in 1909. Designed by Mortimer C. Merritt as a store and office building, this building was originally a mid-19th-century structure that was part of a hotel complex known as the Coleman House, which closed in 1902. It was converted to stores and offices in 1909, with Merritt's new facade, and later changed to apartments in the mid-1900s.

The ground floor has is faced in black metal and glass, with the entrance at the west end, and a storefront with a recessed entry to the right. The upper floors are clad in grey-painted brick framing a central section of black cast-iron framed windows. The 2nd & 3rd floors have tripartite windows with large center panes, while the top three floors have four one-over-one windows. Black paneled spandrels are located between each floor, and a central cartouche tops the 6th floor, where the upper corners of the window band are rounded. The facade is crowned by a black metal roof cornice with scrolled brackets, cartouches, egg-and-dart molding, and finials. The ground floor is occupied by New World International Import & Export/Hana Trading.
