4-story Art-Moderne mercantile building originally completed in about 1850 as a rowhouse. In 1924 a new brick facade designed by A. Benton Greenberg was erected, and the building was converted to a store, office and studios. In 1947, architect Morris Whinston designed a Moderne-style ceramic-tile curtain wall with a stepped roof parapet for owner Louis Rosenblum. The building's facade above the ground floor remains largely intact to the 1947 alteration, although it is rather deteriorated. There are bands of four windows per floor, with stone sills, and transoms on the 3rd floor. The ground floor is occupied by Pura Vida restaurant.
