3-story mercantile building originally completed in 1847 as a rowhouse. The current facade was erected in 1905 by Buchman & Fox. Above the modernized storefront, the 2nd & 3rd floors are framed by paneled brick piers (now painted red) and contain large Chicago-style windows with metal framing and incised metal spandrel panels with double-height fluted metal Ionic pilasters as mullions. The 3rd-floor windows have transoms. The dark green-painted piers and pilasters support a metal entablature surmounted by a parapet with a pier on the northern end.

Commercial tenants have included the nationally-known Singer Sewing Machine Company. The ground floor is currently occupied by a Starbucks coffee.
