7-story Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1897. Designed by Frederick B. Cole as a store-and-loft building, it is three bays wide, with a 2-story stone base. The end piers at the base are banded, with foliate capitals and plaques with rosettes. Capping the ground floor is a white cast-iron spandrel with beribboned cartouches. The 2nd-floor windows are separated by guilloche-decorated cast iron columns.

The 3-story midsection is clad in orange brick with corbelled sill courses. Above a projecting cornice, the 6th floor has an arched window group, and the 7th floor has five round-arched windows. The facade is crowned by a prominent beige bracketed and paneled roof cornice. The east elevation is white smooth stucco, with windows at the rear half. The west elevation has both areas of smooth stucco and red brick, with various narrow windows.

Throughout most of the twentieth century the building was occupied by a variety of small businesses mostly in garment related industries and metal goods. Since the 1980s it has been a cooperative joint live/work quarters for artists. The ground floor is occupied by The Future Perfect interior design store.
