4-story Italianate residential building completed in about 1850 as rowhouses. They were converted to commercial use in the early-20th century. By 1907, they were occupied by music publisher Carl Fischer, who remained until 1999, when the structure was converted to condominiums.
Spanning six bays, the ground floor has paneled brown cast-iron columns. The upper floors are clad in red brick, with a bracketed wooden cornice with a copper flashing. The ground floor is occupied by Muji Japanese apparel and home goods.
