8-story mixed-use residential/commercial building completed in 1898. Designed by George F. Pelham, it is clad in stone, white-painted brick and cast-iron. The facade is organized into three bays of three windows each (two per bay in the base). The 2-story base is capped by a cornice, and there is another cornice above the 4th & 7th floor. The cast-iron infill of the base is painted dark grey, while the cast-iron mullions between windows on the upper floors are white. The upper floors have paneled brick spandrels. At the top of the 7th floor the piers are ornamented by cartouches. The building is crowned by a roof cornice with paired brackets, modillions and dentils. A white iron fire escape with basket-style landings runs down the center of the facade. The northern wall, exposed above the adjoining 1-story building, is clad in brown brick, with windows towards the rear of the building and a large painted advertisement toward the front. The ground floor is occupied by Ligne Roset furniture and accessories.
