6-story Renaissance-revival office building completed in 1877. Designed by Edward H. Kendell as a store for E. Oelbermann & Company dry goods merchants, whose name can be seen carved on the crowning pediment, the facade is clad in stone and red brick. It spans nine bays, with the center three slightly projected forward. There is a large stone cornice across the ground floor, another cornice across the top of the 3rd floor, and a bracketed cornice above the 5th floor, with rounded pediments at each end. The 3rd & 5th floor windows are segmental-arched, and there is horizontal stone banding across the mid-line between the windows on each floor. Wide stone bands with circular ornaments on the piers run across the facade between the 2nd & 3rd floors, and the 4th & 5th, connecting the tops of the lower windows to the bases of those above. Currently the ground floor is occupied by Bang & Olufsen design center.
