12-story office building completed in 1897, renovateed in 1997. Designed by Buchman & Deisler as a store, it is clad in stone and brick. The main facade faces Broadway, spanning nine bays of double-windows and a 2-story base. There are round-arched entrances with keystones in three of the bays - the 3rd from the north, and the 3rd & 4th from the south. Each is framed by stone columns with projecting bands, supporting an entablature. The 2nd floor has angled bay windows between the piers, and is capped by dentiled cornice.

The 3rd-floor piers are banded and have circular stone decorations. Each bay of windows on the 4th floor has a stone balcony with either carved figures or balustrades; these bays culminate in round-arches at the 9th floor, surrounded by intricate carvings and topped with scrolled keystones. There is a projecting stone cornice above the 10th floor, and the top floor has individual round-arched windows separated by Ionic columns. The ground floor is occupied by Express/Express Men, Zara, Broadway Gourmet Food Market, and Ricky's cosmetics. The offices of the Academy of America Poets are also located here.

The rear facade on Crosby has five middle bays of double-windows, flanked by end segments of three single windows each. The brick piers are banded up through the 3rd floor, and the center bays culminate in round-arches at the 9th floor. The ground floor consists mainly of freight entrances.
