8-story Renaissance-revival office building completed in 1905. Designed by Buchman & Fox as a warehouse for August Trenkmann, whose estate still owns the building. It is clad in red brick with a white stone ground floor. On the long Lafayette Street facade, there are single windows in the two outer bays, and paired windows in each of the five center bays. Stone cornices cap the 1st and 2nd floors, and the brick is banded up through the 6th floor. There are dentils above the windows on the 2nd floor, and stone sills on the windows above, with corbelled feet at the outer windows. The outer windows of the 7th floor are segmental-arched, and the building is capped by a brick parapet. A metal fire escape covers the narrow Broome Street facade, which has three bays. The ground floor is currently occupied by Calypso fashion store, Yette Lafayette Marketplace & Espresso Bar, and A. Trenkmann Real Estate.
