171-foot, 12-story Neo-classical office building completed in 1914. Designed by the noted firm of McKenzie, Voorhees & Gmelin, it has a 3-story limestone base, and upper floors clad in light brown brick. Some of the bays of the base are encompassed under 2-story round-arches with white cast-iron infill on the 2nd floor. Above a stone cornice, the 3rd floor begins the fenestration pattern of double windows, with singles on the ends facing Lafayette, and triples in the center with doubles on the ends facing Howard. A dentiled string course caps the 3rd floor. The upper floors have simple small sills below the windows and a small cornice above the 10th floor. The building is capped by a simple stone coping. The ground floor is occupied by Utrecht art supplies.
