7-story Renaissance-revival office building completed in 1902. Designed by Albert V. Porter as a store-and-loft building, it is clad in red brick. This L-shaped building, which has 3-bay facades on both Centre Street and Broome Street, replaced two brick, early nineteenth-century buildings. Most of the windows have splayed stone lintels, and a red-painted metal fire escape runs down the Centre Street facade. A large projecting cornice tops the 6th floor on both facades. Animal Haven, a shelter, occupies the ground floor on the Centre Street side, while Calypso home furnishings is on the Broome Street side.
