 office building, 1999_construction

5-story office building completed in 1999. Designed by Tieh C. Ho, it is clad in beige brick. The narrow facade facing Broome Street has bands of four windows at the east side of each floor, with a single window topped by a vent on the west side. The longer Lafayette Street elevation has a 2-pane wide curtain wall running up the building, opening up to a wider area at the top floor where the window framing takes on a diamond-shaped pattern. Masonry diamond shapes at each floor flank the curtain wall, which divided the facade into a northern section of one 5-pane window band per floor, and a southern section of three additional 5-pane window bands. The windows at the top floor are slightly taller, and have diagonal cross-frames. The two top floors on the northern section are covered by a billboard. At the extreme south end of the facade is a column of squares of translucent glass blocks, and a colorful mural painted on the ground floor, which is occupied by Kate's Paperie.
