5-story Neo-Grec office building completed in 1856 as a store. It spans through the block to Mercer Street, where the facade is clad in red-brown brick. The windows have simple stone sills and lintels, and there is a plain, black metal roof cornice. The main facade facing Broadway is much more sophisticated - clad in wjhite stone, with triangular pediments over the 2nd-story windows, and stone enframements with corbelled sills and cornices around the upper windows. The edges are adorned by stone quoins.
