6-story residential building completed in 1883. Designed by Jobst Hoffmann, it was formerly known as the Clark Building - the name can still be seen inscribed below the dentiled metal cornice that caps the 5th floor. The building has been used for light manufacturing and storage, with stores at the ground story. The upper floors have been converted to condominiums, with an entrance on Lispenard Street. The Canal Street ground level frontage is occupied by Taj Mahal Car Stereo & Audio. The 2nd floor is grey-painted cast-iron, with wide squared columns with Corinthian capitals at the edges, and a pair of smaller rounded Corinthian columns in the center. Above, the outer piers are red brick, with flourishes of grey cast-iron ornamentation at various places. Pairs of narrow columns separate the windows at each floor. The facade is capped by a metal cornice with carved swag and a rounded pediment set into the center.

The rear facade, facing Lispenard, is twice as wide, with a grey-painted cast-iron ground floor. The upper floors have red brick outer piers, banded with stone on the 2nd story. Each floor has a broad, dentiled white metal cornice supported by thin Corinthian columns. An ornate, white wrought-iron fire escape runs down the center, and there is a simple white metal roof cornice.
