5-story Italianate office building completed in 1854 as a store-and-loft building. The building is faced in marble above the 1st floor and each story has four bays of window openings. Windows at the 2nd floor have projecting hoods with elaborate brackets and keystones and slender paneled pilasters; those at the floors above are somewhat simpler in their detailing. A bracketed marble cornice crowns the facade.

The brick-faced rear elevation of this building is four bays wide. The square-headed window openings have stone lintels and sills. A corbelled brick cornice caps the elevation. At the base, the cast-iron piers and lintel of the 2nd floor remain. Some openings have been blocked, others retain historic wood shutters.

The building has been used as a store, for offices, and manufacturing. A more recent years, it has been vacant, and suffered a partial roof collapse in 2011 when the building shifted to one side.
