5-story residential building completed in 1834. The original design was likely by James Russell, who acquired the lot in 1833 and constructed a 3-story red brick-faced dwelling. In 1866, architect Alfred E. Dunham was commissioned to raise the building to four stories and extend its depth from fifty-two feet to ninety feet, converting the structure to a store and loft building with a white cast-iron ground floor with Corinthian columns. The upper floors have segmental-arched windows with curved white lintels and projecting sills with corbelled feet. A black metal fire escape runs down the facade, which is topped by a white roof cornice with brackets and modillions. This building has been occupied by numerous dry goods firms. By the 1970s, the building was vacant, until being converted into condominiums around 2000.
