apartment building, Italianate style (architecture), 1870s construction

5-story Italianate residential building completed in the 1870s. It is clad in red brick above a ground floor of white-painted stone with two separate entrances. Both are round-arched, with recessed glass-and-red-metal doors atop grey stone sets of three steps. Flanking each entrance is a round-arched window, and there are small wall lanterns between the windows and doors. A modest, white cornice caps the ground floor.

The upper floors have eight bays of single-windows, with bracketed stone sills and lintels with cornices. A pair of black metal fire escapes run down the middle two bays of both halves of the facade, which is crowned by a pair of matching grey metal roof cornices with console brackets, modillions, and panels.
