4-story residential building completed sometime around 1880. It is a near-twin of No. 451 next door, built at the same time. The 3-bay facade is faced in brownstone, with an English basement and high stoop leading to a parlor-floor entrance set in a round-arched molding. The paneled wood-and-glass double-doors are topped by a fanlight. To the right of the stoop are two segmental-arched basement windows with iron grilles, and there is a basement doorway in the side of the stoop.

The two tall parlor-floor windows next to the main entrance are set in segmental-arched openings, and have iron railings at their bases, as do all the windows on the upper floors. A simple roof parapet with metal coping replaces the original roof cornice.
