Barbers Hill Middle School South serves students living south of Interstate 10 within Barbers Hill ISD that are in grades 6-8. This building was originally the district Intermdiate school after the schools relocated from the original Mont Belvieu location on top of Barber's Hill. in 2014 The school district underwent a major expansion adding a second middle school and a second elementary and removing the intermediate school.
one of Houston's highest preforming schools.
This is also one of just a few schools in the state of Texas that issues laptops to it's students(6th grade only).

This school also has the ability to lock you out of the property, a signature ability among BHISD schools.
