Barbers Hill is a region that encompasses most of western Chambers County. This region is defined by the borders of Barbers Hill ISD (can also be referred to as the Barbers Hill High School Attendance Zone), which brings together the four communities within it to function as one community with Mont Belvieu at its core. The other three communities are Old River-Winfree, Cove, and Beach City. The Barbers Hill region is known for it's above average schools and its housing options that, for the most part, offer an abundance of "acreage" homesites.
