"The I-10 Corridor district is primarily vacant and undeveloped. The area is the main entry and exit point for traffic servicing the industrial areas to the west and on the Hill. Currently, this district contains a mixture of residential, commercial. and recreation and open
space, but remains primarily undeveloped with over 95% of the land area being vacant. Public water and sewer services are not available in this area, which will continue to inhibit development. The prime opportunity of this area is that Interstate 10 is the pnmary edge, which affords both accessibility and visibility to the City."
