This facility actually takes up several blocks, but pictured is the main office. The city of New Orleans worked out a deal with Brown's to stay in the city rather than relocate, partially by selling/allowing them to us a 1-block stretch of Thalia Street which had always been a thorn in their side as because of passing traffic. Brown's, initially bought out by Southern Foods Group, also acquired Barbe's and Walker-Roemer, two local dairies.
