Plaza de Uncibay is a square in the historic city center of Malaga.
The square has changed significantly, the most recent of which took place in 1989, according to the design of the architects Luis Ruiz de la Herran Bono and Jose Fernandez Oyarzábal, The obelisk is their work. The mythological sculptures, Rapto de Europa and La Muerte de Acteón are the work of sculptor Joseph Seguiri Malaga.
The square is named in honor of Fernando de Uncibay, captain at the orders of the Catholic Monarchs in the conquest of Malaga.
