The Church of the Holy Martyrs (Málaga)

Spain / Malaga / Málaga / Plaza de los Mártires, 1

The Church of the Holy Martyrs (Iglesia de los Santos Mártires) is a Christian church. This is one of four churches built by the Catholic Monarchs in the walled perimeter of the city after the Spanish conquest in 1487.
It was erected in honor of the martyrs Ciriaco and Paula, patrons of the city. The church has undergone several reforms that have altered its original Gothic-Mudejar style, featuring Rococo on all elements of the eighteenth century, although it retains a Mudejar tower on the outside.
