Estate home designed c. 1930 in the French Manor style by Polhemus & Coffin for Nevil Ford {financier}. Ford served as the chairman of the board of Heritage Federal Savings & Loan Association and vice president of Fifth Avenue Corporation. Ford was also chairman of the WWII Fifth War Loan Drive, raising $5 billion.
