Residence reportedly designed by McKim, Mead & White c. 1917 in the Georgian style on originally 55 acres for Donald Scott, Jr. It was subsequently owned by Morris Hadley {attorney}. Hadley served as a partner in the law firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & Morris. He had lived prior in Glen Cove. The estate includes a chauffeurs cottage, caretakers residence, summer guest residence, greenhouse, and separate garage.
It was subsequently owned by their son John Wood Blodgett Hadley who renamed the estate "Whitewood Point". The estate was ultimately demolished in 2020.
