"Manor House" Tennis Court (Flower Hill, New York)

USA / New York / Munsey Park / Flower Hill, New York
tennis court(s), LIGC - Long Island Gold Coast, interesting place

Originally the indoor tennis court transported from "Manor House" John T Pratt estate in Glen Cove. Following WWII, the building was shipped brick-by-brick to Port Washington due to a shortage of steel rather than build a new structure. It was rebuilt to a design by Herman M. Sohn of Brooklyn in the 1940's.

The building became a showroom and service center for a Lincoln Mercury franchise called Port Motors. In 2015, the building was altered and adaptively reused by RDL Architects to become a showroom for Arhaus Furniture.
