The home was subsequently owned by William Morris Stiger, a yacht designer for Sparkman & Stephens. Stiger was an avid yachtsman first sailing with the Cedarhurst Yacht Club and for many years with the Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club and the Cruising Club of America.
