Sinca noua is situated in the foothills of New Fagaras, at a distance of 35 km. The municipality Fagaras and 50 km. the municipality of Brasov.
City of New Sinca founded in 1762 following the departure of 88 families in the village of Sinca Veche, after the establishment of border regiments and moving to the Greek Catholic religion.
Until 1968 New Sinca community was the largest Romanian community of Fagaras. Starting this year because its inhabitants were against CAP's commune was disbanded.
In 2002 New Sinca common reinstated.
