Dhuty dam is the diversion head work which is constructed over wainganga river in the lamta At Balaghat district whhich is very old dam made By Britishers in the year 1911 by civil engineer Sir George Moss Harriot who laid out its plan and now that dam serves as Irrigationin the Balaghat ditrict there are the 2 canals on the both banks eastern bank serves water to lamta, western bank serves water to lalburra tehsil of balaghat
