The Mirim Block Factory was constructed as part of the Three Years Restoration Plan for post-war reconstruction in 1954. It is a construction and aggregate materials factory that has supplied the construction the road and structures of Hason, Ragwon, Chollima, Changgwang, Munsu, Kwangbok and Thongil Streets, as well as the Pyongyang Ice Rink.
