The site of an extremely remote phone booth along U.S. Route 50 near Sand Mountain Recreational Area. The booth was solar-powered and assigned the phone number of (775) 423-0904. It was removed by the phone company after too many drivers passing by it used it for target practice with their firearms, filling it with bullet holes.
