The former contours of Eagle Lake's western shore, which the lake filled until some busybodies from Susanville drained the lake to irrigate Honey Lake Valley in the 1920s. The lake has been gradually recovering since authorities stopped the busybodies. If the lake recovers much more than it already has, much of Spaulding Tract will be flooded.
