  • Actually, this site is undergoing a $40 million remediation. There are no homes being built on the 880-acre property that you can read about at EnviroReporter.com.
  • This site has been manufacturing munitions since before 1980 and the clean up is still on-going. Aerojet actually settled out of court for 2 million in damages to several residents of Chino Hills for the wrong deaths of their children due to surface water contamination. Depleted Uranium, VX Gas, Mustard Gas, and perchlorates are known contaminants in the area.   • The issue is hot again; Aerojet is trying to get clearance to develop the land even though they are just starting teh second major phase of the cleanup. The community watchdog organization Hope for the Hills has been active in research and meeting with political leaders about the issues to make sure everything is done correctly.
