The Port of Saint John's 31.3 ac. Container Terminal is operated by Logistec Stevedoring Atlantic and is capable of handling 100,000 to 150,000 TEUs (Twenty foot Unit containers Equivalent).

Tropical Shipping

Since 2001, the primary user of the Terminal has been Florida based Tropical Shipping which provides a weekly container service to the Caribbean. Employing two 1,100 TEU vessels, Tropical Shipping ships frozen food and other products in refrigerated ships to points in the West Indies and the Caribbean.

Autoterm

Established in 1998, Autoterm, operated by Logistec Stevedoring, operates a distribution terminal receiving automobiles by rail from Canada, United States and Mexico for distribution throughout Atlantic Canada. It was recently moved to a part of the container terminal with the expansion of the AIM recycling facility.
