The Strashnoto Lake (Scary Lake) is the largest and highest of the lakes in the Prekorech Circus. It is carved into the northern foothills of the Small and Middle Kupen at 2,465 m above sea level. The bare rocky ridges overhanging the lake with sharp edges and sheer cliffs, screes and rock falls, the loud echo of thunder and the excitement of the lake during a storm add severity and wild grandeur to the surrounding landscape, reflected in his name. The Strashnoto Lake is 200 meters long, 75 meters wide and up to 2 meters deep, and its area is 14.4 decares. It flows north to the valley of the Treta Preka River.
