The O'Qinn Medical Tower was designed by Cesar Pelli to resemble to large hypodermic needles. The tower was named, in 2005, for John O'Quinn (from the fen-phen and breast implant lawsuit). The tower was recently purchased by Texas Children's Hospital who will allow the tower to slowly empty out it's Saint Luke's tenants by 2020 (all of which are moving to Baylor's McNair Campus on Cambridge Street).
