The Monument is dedicated to those fallen in war: the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878, the Serbo-Bulgarian War of 1885, the Balkan wars of 1912-1913 and WWI, 1915-1918. The monument, called "Mother Bulgaria" has on the base the statue of a crowned woman who personifies Bulgaria. She holds up a banner in his right hand and in the left hand a laurel branch. On the two plinths are represented military scenes. A fire burns perpetually on the foot of the monument, symbolizing the gratitude of the residents to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the name of their country and people's freedom. The inauguration of the monument is made on May 6, 1935.
In the 1936s, Anton Novak (designer of the Seaside Garden in Varna) makes the total afforestation of the garden with a total of eighteen species of shrubs and thirteen rare species of trees.
