mountain, place with historical importance
Its a temple of Lauri Garh, history is unknown many folklores are there. This is near Lauri Garh fort, its a very old temple of Godess Lokhari. During my childhood thats in early 80's I used to see wonderfull idols of different Godesses. The most famous being the Goat Headed Godess, having head of a goat and rest body of a bautifull lad. The idol was one of the rare sculpture. Then one year I heard that those idols were stolen. I was always curious about this place and 2 yrs back I found a report on internet that those sculptures were smuggled to London and were to be auctioned by Sotheby Gallery. Before it could be auctioned they were lost and no one is aware what happened to them. They have gone missing mysteriously adding mystery to already mysterious fort.
