Patalkot is a valley, 78 km away from Chhindwara district headquarter. This valley is home to a tribal culture and enormous herbal wealth. According to Asian Wall Street Journal, the valley is one of the most valued treasure in India. Wall Street Journal had covered a special story about Dr Deepak Acharya's efforts in scientific documentation and validation of indigenous knowledge of the Patalkot tribesmen.
