This is what gets marked as the Allured mine on topo maps, but it is one of three workings that make up the mine. The Hillside claim is the most visible of the three Allured workings. This one is the Oxide. The Cuprite claim is about 1/2 miles southeast of the Oxide workings. Several hundred tons of silver-gold-copper ore were removed between 1925 and 1940, and some additional tonnage was shipper in 1947 and 1949.
