This campus serves grades 10 through 12 (9th Grade is at Aldine Ninth Grade School). The school's attendance boundary encompasses portions of the city of Houston and unincorporated areas in north Harris County, including sections of the Aldine CDP and the Greenspoint District, and the eastern portion of Acres Homes. The oldest high school in the AISD, Aldine originally opened in 1936 near the intersection of Aldine-Bender Road and Aldine-Westfield Road as Marrs High School, until burned to the ground on Thanksgiving Eve, 1954; classes were held in a makeshift building until the completion of the new Aldine High School in 1956.
