Missile Test and Assembly Building

This metal building was added to the site in 1962. In it the non-explosive components of the Nike Hercules missile were assembled, and the electronic components were periodically checked using electronic testing equipment. The explosive components (engines and warheads) were assembled in a separate area a hundred yards away.
