Hyŏngjesan-guyŏk (-district), north west, P'yŏngyang, North Korea

Hyŏngjesan District was established in October 1960 by removing several administrative units from Taedong-gun (Taedong County), South P'yongan Province. Theres is a light KPA presence in a defensive posture. Hyongjesan is the location of General Kim Jong il's major contribution to north Korean culture, the Korean Film Studios. It also contains a small museum complex which focuses on General Kim's contribution to ideological life in the DPRK, the Three Revolutions Museum.
