4-story (including raised basement) Italianate residential building completed in the 1850s. It is clad in red brick above a ground floor (formerly basement) that was refaced in rough-faced cobbled stone. The original stoop on the left was also removed and replaced by a ground-level entrance, down a couple of steps from the sidewalk, with a dark-red metal door with three square glass panes, set in a beveled surround of matching metal. To the right are two segmental-arched windows with iron grilles.

The upper floors have three bays of single-windows (with one replacing the original parlor-floor entrance) with thin stone sills and flat stone lintels. The facade is crowned by a white metal roof cornice with scrolled, paired brackets and panels. At some point, the house was divided into apartments.
